Brian Sales

A proud veteran and the founder of the Green Veterans Group, Brian Sales has more than nine years of experience in the US Army, including one tour in Kosovo and two combat tours in Iraq in support of "Operation Iraqi Freedom".
Brian has supervised and trained personnel in supply management, vehicle operations/maintenance, security and safety operations, and combat operations. While serving as a Warrior Leadership Course instructor, Brian was recognized for teaching, coaching, mentoring and counseling future leaders, and achieving 95+% academic average for all graduating students. Brian's strengths include safety and security consulting, project management, technical and tactical planning, construction management, alternative and renewable energy management, and sustainability.
He is passionate about assisting fellow veterans by introducing them to green building and sustainable practices. Brian currently Chairs the USGBC South Florida Chapter's Green Veterans Group, and is leading the way to introducing the concept to USGBC Chapters across the USA. He is also the USGBC Students Regional Chair for South Florida and Puerto Rico.

Edel served 6 years in the US Air Force, performing logistics, mobility air freight, traffic management and EMT roles; including Kosovo supporting the Alabama Air National Guard. His strengths include innovative planning, project management, and business management.
As Co-Founder of the USGBC Green Veterans Group, Veteran Sustainability Training Program to promote rapid deployment of sustainability initiatives, Edel is passionate about creating opportunities and dedicated to helping fellow veterans learn about green building and green living.
