Study of Wind Energy Development in Wisconsin: A Collaborative Report

Published: 2004

This is a collaborative report that explores a variety of impacts. It is structured in three parts, with a total of five segments addressing different aspects of wind energy development.

These segments include case studies of existing Wisconsin wind farms, an analysis of net metering policies, a model of wind farm layout scenarios with an accompanying economic analysis, and a report and discussion of wind turbine impacts on property values.

This report attempts to go beyond the well-trodden ground of environmental impact studies into areas of economic and social impact of wind farm development on rural communities.
