  • Develop key performance indicators to validate system optimization projects and best practices.
  • Describe several best practices and new technologies applicable to compressed air systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and implement energy reduction opportunities.

Who should attend?
Plant managers, maintenance personnel, consultants, facility managers, energy managers, utility representatives, plant engineers, and anyone with interest in optimizing compressed air systems.

Pop quiz
Test your knowledge of compressed air.

Learn how to assess the overall cost of running your compressed air system. We’ll apply basic rules of thumb to calculate the cost to run a compressed air system, the cost of leaks in the system and the impact of inappropriate uses of the system. Understanding these costs is key to identifying improvements in operating procedures and implementing cost-effective energy efficiency projects. We’ll discuss energy reduction opportunities, best practices in operating compressed air systems and new technologies. Prior to wrapping up the day, HTI will conduct a brief tour at their facility. Participants must bring and wear safety glasses on the tour.
